I believe that’s an excellent self-induced subliminal, but remember we need to have the intention to relax when doing it. Let me go old school on you and provide another tip especially for people with discursive minds.
Relax your jaw. Let it drop slightly while you feel your head suspended from above. Hold your body upright to relax this suspension from above. Feel the relaxation from your jaw spreading through your neck, towards the top of your head like a warm feeling.
Relaxing the jaw releases tension on the fifth cranial nerve, one of 12 motor sensory pairs. The fifth cranial nerve controls facial and jaw movements. Releasing tension on this nerve, in turn, releases tension on the trigeminal area, the source of great tension which is the physical feedback to a discursive mind.
In finding this relaxation, you will discover that you can focus on the spaces between thoughts. You allow those thoughts to pass while the spaces in between become larger and more interesting. This space is the hyperspacial (dream) realm accessed by your mind. This is where you experience communications from God.
I was in that audience (yellow shirt). When Burt did the “wave of goodness” it actually completely removed a knot of pain I have had between my sholderblades for many, many years. The next day I kept looking for it, waiting for it to come back. Then I started realizing how much the rest of my back and neck still hurt. The pain was always there but that one intense spot took up all of my attention until it was gone. My first thought was “I should have dreamed bigger, taken care of my whole body at one shot!” Then I thought, he showed me how, now I just have to figure out the rest for myself. It’s now been months and the pain never returned. Next time, let me run the camera for you.
Out of all of the so call “the latest and inovative” meditation and relaxation methods going around, including Depak Chopra’s, and the $2,500 expensive Maharishi’s meditation courses, I found Burt Goldman’s teachings and contributions to Humanity to be the most complete and efective of them all

Your description of “space between thoughts” as the area og God-communication is so true. Worked hard with it, some years ago. Amazing, amazing
